CDNS - Turbulence

چکیده
CDNS [1], Compressible Direct Navier-Stokes Simulation code, is an explicit finitedifference code developed by Gordon Erlebacher (Institute for Computer Applications in Science and Engineering) to study 3-D compressible turbulence. This code solves the full Navier-Stokes equations using constant viscosity and Prandtl number. Spatial derivatives are calculated using a sixth-order compact scheme, which requires the solution of a tridiagonal matrix system. Time discretization is based on a low-storage, third-order Runge-Kutta scheme. The code uses 14 three-dimensional arrays.

Cyclic dinucleotides (CDNs) reversed T cells tolerance in anti-tumor immunotherapy
One important barrier to cancer immunotherapy. We used cyclic dinucleotides (CDNs) and Listeria vaccine and LPS treated HA-specific CD8 tolerance B10. D2 mice. Our results demonstrated T cells IFN-gamma increased in CDNs and Listeria vaccine plus CDNs treatment groups. But CDNs didn’t significantly increase Treg cells. The data showed CDNs can reverse established T cell tolerance that improved ...
متن کاملTowards Scalable and Affordable Content Distribution Services
Content Distribution Networks (CDNs) are based on a static infrastructure, and caching and replication in CDNs are performed in a static manner. We argue that it is necessary to design future CDNs in such a way that they are scalable to reach enough customers, their costs are kept low, and they provide a Quality-of-Service that satisfies the client requirements. To reach these goals, more flexi...
متن کاملAntisense suppression of a (+)-delta-cadinene synthase gene in cotton prevents the induction of this defense response gene during bacterial blight infection but not its constitutive expression.
In cotton (Gossypium hirsutum) the enzyme (+)-delta-cadinene synthase (CDNS) catalyzes the first committed step in the biosynthesis of cadinane-type sesquiterpenes, such as gossypol, that provide constitutive and inducible protection against pests and diseases. A cotton cDNA clone encoding CDNS (cdn1-C4) was isolated from developing embryos and functionally characterized. Southern analysis show...
متن کاملArchitecture and Performance Models for QoS-Driven Effective Peering of Content Delivery Networks
The proprietary nature of existing Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) means they are closed and do not naturally cooperate. A CDN is expected to provide high performance Internet content delivery through global coverage, which might be an obstacle for new CDN providers, as well as affecting commercial viability of existing ones. Finding ways for distinct CDNs to coordinate and cooperate with othe...
متن کاملDoxorubicin-loaded cell-derived nanovesicles: an alternative targeted approach for anti-tumor therapy
Cell-derived nanovesicles (CDNs) are an emerging class of biological drug delivery systems (DDS) that retain the characteristics of the cells they were derived from, without the need for further surface functionalization. CDNs are also biocompatible, being derived from natural sources and also take advantage of the enhanced permeability and retention effect due to their nanodimensions. Furtherm...
